Statistics on work-related accidents show that each year, employees get injured or killed the most in their first year at a job. In using these interactive tips, we hope to emphasize safe working principles, the importance of risk evaluation, and recognize and solve examples of poorly organized work.
The goal of these methodical recommendations is to provide opportunities to develop new competencies and deepen already present general competence in the subject of work health and safety.
The methodical recommendations are made of 5 subtopics: from employee health, and required and recommended prevention measures, to suggestions on how to motivate employees to work safely. Most importantly, all legislation is presented in a way that is easy to understand and with examples that are easy to remember. These methodical recommendations show many real accidents that could be avoided by applying and using these necessary prevention measures from your very first day of work in a company.
The main format of presenting the material is interactive slides. The learner is encouraged to evaluate situations and submit their guesses and choices. Two to three tasks are given in each subtopic to help internalize the information. Animation is used to convey real and exaggerated examples. In the training, the learner is lead by a narrator who explains what to do and highlights the most important aspects of the recommendations. Points are collected throughout the training, given for the information viewed and exercises completed.
